I grew up in Houston, Texas and was raised by two loving parents who provided a loving, gospel-centered home. I attended Baylor University for undergraduate, where I met my now-husband Brian Christensen. I received my bachelor’s degree in International Studies in May 2014. From a young age, I felt the Lord called me to be a lawyer (my parents will tell you they knew, from my ability to “negotiate” at a young age, that I would be a lawyer one day). I attended law school at Baylor Law School and graduated in the spring of 2017. Soon after graduation, Brian and I married, moved to Dallas, and started our first “big-kid” jobs.

Brian and I have been faithful members of Watermark Community Church since moving to Dallas in 2017. We have felt called to leadership there. We served as leaders in Watermark’s Life Initiative, a pro-life ministry, for three years. We are also currently serving as leaders of our community group.

Recently, we felt God calling us to take a step-back from the Life Initiative to engage in bringing others to Christ in other ways. We have heard Anthony and others speak of Global Hands of Hope and Ronnie’s work for years and, when Anthony mentioned an opportunity to serve GHOH, we knew this is what the Lord was calling us to. We think our backgrounds in the legal field and business/finance give us a unique perspective and we hope to use our God-given skills to further the gospel in Uganda. We’re excited about how the Lord can use us through this opportunity!
