Alexandra grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She is passionate about mental health in the lives of children and their families. She attended Baylor University and graduated with a B.S in Child and Family Studies.

After graduating, she began working with the H. E. Butt Family Foundation’s mental health initiatives, where she played various roles as a researcher, a community liaison, and a mental health educator. Because of this work, she pursued a Master of Counseling at Southern Methodist University, where she focused on cultivating wellness in families of diverse backgrounds and circumstances. As a student, she interned at Hope’s Door New Beginning Center where she worked with children and their parents through domestic violent situations.

Alexandra currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, Patrick and her two-year-old son, Camden. Together they attend Gateway Church. She is committed to taking her passions, experiences, and education into her community and beyond.
